Organizational Acronyms and Abbreviations
NEACURH is an acronym for North East Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls. NEACURH and NACURH use acronyms and abbreviations such as SALT, POY, RBD, AD... the list goes on! The organizations have so many of these letter combinations that it is often compared to Alphabet Soup.
To help our members and our readers, this guide has been put together to assist with those random letters which are put together to show that they DO mean something. You can print this page and use it when you are at conferences or even as part of your everyday language. But no matter what, you'll always be in-the-know!
The acronyms and abbreviations have been organizaed into the lists below. If you do not see one that you think should be listed, please contact an RBD. Then we will add it for everyone to see!

- RHA
- An acronym for Residence Hall Association, or in NEACURH, the overarching term for whatever groups represents the students living on campus (other acronyms include: RSA, IRC, RHSA, RHC, etc). Each institution may have a different structure, but the goals are the same: to improve the residential living experience!
