It's finally HERE!
What's that? You haven't heard? It's National Residence Hall Month (NRHM)!
This is a month to celebrate living on campus and the awesome experiences of being a student leader. The 4 weeks pf the month focus on recognition, service, scholarship, and programming. We will be highlighting our member schools' events throughout the month on the website. Make sure you keep us updated with how you are celebrating this month!

Spirit Points Contest Update
Hey CAACURH, it's time to get ready for NACURH! In less than three months, we'll be in Boulder, but we want you all pumped now! You know what that means... it's time for spirit Points!
In the links below you will find the scoring rubric for all monthly spirit point opportunities and the Spring Spirit Flyer. Please take note of all deadlines and guidelines for each month - feel free to start working on them now!
After submission, the points will be updated on the document on the regional website by the following Friday.

CAACURH and NACURH Service Pins
With NACURH quickly approaching, it is that time of the year we get the chance to recognize individuals for their continued commitment to CAACURH and NACURH. There are two different pins available based upon one's service.
The CAACURH Three Year Service Pin recognizes those who who have been involved in CAACURH for 3 years. The application can be downloaded here: 3 Year Service Pin Application
The NACURH Four Year Service Pin recognizes those who who have been involved in NACURH for 4 years. The application can be downloaded here: 4 Year Service Pin Application
All applications must be postmarked no later than April 1, 2012 for consideration. No late application will be accepted!

Registration for NACURH 2012 is now open! Please head to nacurh2012.com to register your school's delegation. Regular Registration closes April 1, please don't wait until the last minute to register. We hope to CU in Boulder on June 1st!

A Message from the No Frills Chair

Hey CAACURH!
The University of Delaware has been working diligently to continue planning for the 2012 No Frills Conference! We have received everyone's registrations and have approximately 145 delegates, advisors, and guests coming to No Frills! Audrey, our Registration and Logistics Chair, is taking delegation gender swaps until January 19. We are beginning the process of ordering t-shirts, as well as completing room assignments. We will have gender neutral bathrooms at the locations of the socials, hospitality suites, and boardrooms! We have also arranged 24 hour pool access on Saturday night, so bring your bathing suites to enjoy the pool and hot tub! We are so excited to see everyone on January 27! Regional Board of Directors Roundtable

Join us THIS Saturday December 3rd from 2:00-3:00pm EST to learn about bidding for a position on the RBD. Come hear about specific qualifications for each position, some characteristics that would make a good candidate for each position, and steps you can take to prepare to bid for a position. If you have any interest at all (even the slightest) come to learn more about the RBD and potentially becoming a member yourself. A continuation of a tradition since 2005, the CAACURH Scholarship is offered to students in CAACURH who demonstrate exceptional leadership in residence life yet have financial limitations which may prevent them from attending the Regional Conference with the rest of their delegation or to represent their school. Being a member of a national committee can be a lot of work, but very rewarding at the same time. The Regional Board of Directors is currently working hard at their annual summer retreat. This year the retreat is being hosted at the University of Charleston in the Wild and Wonderful state of West Virginia. Today they worked on several team building activities and visited the State Capitol. Please look for more updates from the board!
