Hey NACURH,
NACURH 2010 is inching closer and the NIC wanted to touch base about with you about how to make sure your school is affiliated for both this year and next! Please read the following message carefully to make sure that your school is affiliated and has voting rights at conference.
Affiliation Year 2009-2010 (Present year, ends at the close of the NACURH 2010 Conference)
Affiliations for the 2009-2010 year are still open! If your school wants to affiliate and has not yet done so, you have until NIC Check-In at NACURH to turn all of your materials in.
- In order to affiliate there are several things a school needs submit:
- Please note that because the affiliation process is now entirely online, we are not able to accept hard copies of anything (except the check). Please submit all material through the website www.nacurh.org .
- RFI Requirements: To be acceptable your RFI must be in PDF format. On the cover page it must have the title, school name, affiliation year, total number of pages and an abstract. All pages must be numbered. If your RFI is missing any of these things it will not be accepted.
- Your check must be written out to NACURH, Inc. and made out for the exact required amount ($110 for large schools, $85 for small schools and $35 for associate member schools). Please put your school’s name and affiliation year on the check. From this point forward, if you still have to submit a check to be affiliated for this year, please bring it to conference rather than mailing it to the NIC office.
- Important: Please be aware that NIC Check-In AND the NCC Informational Session are both MANDATORY for schools that wish to have voting rights during corporate boardroom. Absence at either of these sessions will result in the forfeit of voting rights at NACURH 2010.
The login system for the website has been completely redone. You should have received an email from the NIC telling you your new user name and password. Your user name is the same as your school name. If you haven’t received a new login please go to the website and click on the “New Login Information” link to request one.
Affiliation Year 2010-2011 (Begins during NACURH 2010)
There are no changes to the 2010-2011 affiliation process except for the new login information. If you still have questions about your login please feel free to contact us.
- Affiliations for 2010-2011 will begin during NACURH 2010. No materials for the 2010-2011 affiliation year will be accepted prior to NACURH 2010.
- Schools Attending NACURH 2010: There will be a separate check-in session for schools that wish to affiliate for next year during conference. The NIC will be available to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have. You should bring all materials listed above on a USB drive. Although the NIC encourages you to bring the materials to affiliate at NACURH, if you do not have the materials with you, we will still be holding a NACURH-U program where we will guide you through the process so it will be easier to do on your own later.
- Schools Not Attending NACURH 2010: All materials (as listed above) should be submitted through the online affiliation process at the www.nacurh.org website.
- 2010-2011 Invoices can be found at http://www.nacurh.org/affiliations-documents/ . Please do not send us checks for 2010-2011 prior to NACURH 2010.
- After you affiliate, be sure to check back a few weeks later to make sure all your school’s information is correct. You will not receive an email if there is a problem with your affiliation, but you can find out your status and directions on what needs to be submitted by logging into your account on www.nacurh.org.
